Description: The C. J. Greenfield Community Hall is a modernised concrete hall, located within C. J. Greenfield Park on Freeman Road, Richlands. C. J. Greenfield Park is a recreational sporting precinct.

This venue is accessible by public transport, the nearest bus stop is ‘Balsa Street at Begonia Street, Stop 43’. There is shared on-site parking running the length of C. J. Greenfield Park, which has a concrete footpath leading to the hall entrance.

At this venue all doors both internal and external are manual doors and are a minimum of 0.9 metres wide. Inside, all areas have vinyl flooring, except for the external deck which has timber flooring. The hall is air-conditioned and has ceiling fans and an induction hearing-loop system. The hall can accommodate up to 100 people.

Entry to the hall is through a copper-clad door with a large glass pane. A swipe card is required for access using the black card reader to the left of this door. The hall extends to the left where the amenities, table and chair storage and kitchen are located. To the right, at the front of the hall, is the audio-visual projector, speakers and controls. Directly across from the front entrance is the covered external deck.

To the left of the entrance door, behind double grey doors, is the chair and table storage room. The tables fold down and have wheels to make them easier to move and store.

To the right of the chair and table storage room is a grey door that leads to the amenities corridor. Turning right into this corridor, the first grey door on the left leads to a unisex accessible toilet with left-hand transfer and a baby-change table. To the right of this door is another grey door that leads to a unisex ambulant toilet with assistance rails. All bathrooms feature braille signage.

Returning to the hall from the amenities corridor, to the left on the rear wall is an entrance that leads to the kitchen and a row of bench-height cupboards that run along the length of the wall. The kitchen includes a fridge with freezer, benchtop microwave, dishwasher, double sink, cooktop stove and oven for reheating food only, and a boiling and chilled water tap wall. The sink is wheelchair accessible. There is a small window that opens into the hall.

The external covered deck is accessed using glass and aluminium sliding doors directly opposite the entrance hall. Above-head windows run along the length of the hall above the sliding doors. Four additional operable windows are located on the outer walls of the hall. This concludes the tour of the C. J. Greenfield Community Hall.
