New Inala Hall is a concrete and brick hall, located adjacent to the Inala Library on the corner of Corsair Avenue and Wirraway Parade, Inala.
This venue is accessible by public transport, bus stop ‘Inala Plaza’ is located 300m down the footpath at the Inala Plaza bus station.
The facility has on-site parking as well as four accessible parking spaces located within a short distance from the main entry.
All doors both internal and external are manual doors and are a minimum of 0.8m wide.
All inside areas have vinyl flooring, except for the toilets which are tiled.
Entry to the hall is through orange double-leaf doors that require a swipe card for access, using the black card reader to the left of these doors.
These doors lead into the main hall, and immediately to the left is the chair storage area.
The table storage area is located to the right when entering the hall.
The tables fold down and have wheels to make them easier to move and store.
New Inala Hall can accommodate up to 210 people.
It has a piano and an audio-visual system which includes a projector and speakers.
Audio-visual controls are in the back right corner of the hall adjacent to the piano.
The venue also features an infrared hearing loop system and is air-conditioned.
Clerestory windows run along the full length of the right wall.
Behind the back wall is a full-length corridor that provides access to the kitchen and amenities, entered from either side of the hall through grey doors.
Entering the corridor through the entry door on the right of the hall is a row of bins, immediately along the left-hand corridor wall.
Along the right-hand corridor wall, opposite the bins are the toilets and kitchen, accessed through five grey doors.
The first door leads to the male toilets.
The second door slides open to a unisex accessible toilet with right-hand transfer.
The third door leads into female toilets.
The fourth door is a staff only toilet.
The fifth door leads into the kitchen.
The kitchen includes a fridge with freezer, benchtop microwave, double sink, cooktop and oven for reheating food only, boiling and chilled water tap and a wall mounted instant boiling water unit.
The kitchen also has a servery window with a pull-down roller shutter which connects to the corridor.
The sink and benches are not wheelchair accessible.
Direct access back to the main hall from the kitchen is through a grey door opposite the kitchen entrance.
