Description: Annerley Hall is a multi-room timber building, located adjacent to the Annerley Library at 8 Waldheim Street, Annerley.

This venue is accessible by public transport, bus stop ‘Ipswich Road at Waldheim Street, Stop 18/21’ is located 120m away on Ipswich Road. There is on-site parking as well as limited street parking. Two accessible parking spaces are located to the right side of the hall within a short distance of the accessible entry ramp leading to the rear of the hall. Handrails are provided on both sides of this ramp.

Externally at the rear of the hall and library is a children’s playground with a pergola to the right, which is accessible from the carpark.

This venue consists of two buildings with shared amenities, linked by a covered access way. Directly at the top of the entry ramp is the multi-room building referred to as the main hall. To the right is the second building containing a meeting room. All doors both internal and external are manual doors and are a minimum of 0.8m wide. These buildings have vinyl flooring and are fully air-conditioned.

Entry to the main hall is through a red door and a swipe card is required for access using the black card reader to the right of this door. Through this door, approximately three metres down the central hallway, are two rooms to the left and right accessed by white doors. Further down the central hallway to the left is a third room also accessed by a white door.

Directly opposite the third room, to the right of the central hallway, is the kitchen. This kitchen includes a cooktop and oven which is used for reheating food only, a fridge with freezer, sink, benchtop microwave, and a wall-mounted instant boiling water unit. The sink and benches are not wheelchair accessible.

At the end of the central hallway next to the main kitchen is a large room, accessed through a white door. On the opposite wall, in the right corner through a white door, is a small enclosed landing and set of external stairs. To the left of this large room is an adjoining room and directly opposite the central hallway entry, is access to the table and chair storage area. These tables fold down and have wheels to make them easier to move and store. The main hall accommodates up to 35 people and all rooms have casement windows.

Returning to the top of the entry ramp, to the right is access to the second building. The meeting room is accessed through a red door and a swipe card is required for access using the black card reader to the left of this door. This door leads to a corridor approximately four metres long with a second red door located at the end. A swipe card is required for access using the black card reader to the left of this door.

Directly through this door are two adjoining rooms making up the meeting room, connected by a white sliding door at the centre of the left-hand wall. This meeting room can accommodate up to 35 people. In the first room, chairs are normally stored along the right wall and tables stored in the immediate left-hand corner. These tables fold down and have wheels to make them easier to move and store. This room has one small window and two floor to ceiling posts in the middle.

In the adjoining room, a kitchenette is located on the left as you enter through the connecting door. The kitchenette features a bar fridge, sink, microwave and a boiling and chilled water tap. This room has four small external windows.

Returning to the top of the ramp, to the right of the meeting room entry door are the toilets. There are two unisex toilets located through the first red door. A unisex accessible toilet with right-hand transfer is located through the second red door. All toilets feature braille signage on each door.
